About The Rolling Joy Project

Also known as: The Birding Bitchmobile Manifesto

The Rolling Joy Project began with Summer— writer, publisher, bird nerd, and unapologetically loud woman — her kiddo, and their light blue Subaru Crosstrek, affectionately called The Birding Bitchmobile.

What started as a personal art experiment turned into a feminist, sticker-fueled declaration of joy and rebellion. Their car became a rolling zine — part public art, part confession, part invitation to laugh, honk, and keep going.

It’s covered in birds, cats, literary quotes, and the occasional well-placed expletive. It’s not subtle. But then again, neither is joy.

What We Believe

The Rolling Joy Project stands on three loud, unapologetic truths:

  • Joy is radical. It’s a rebellion against the systems that profit from burnout and self-doubt.
  • Rebellion can be kind. Rage and softness can exist in the same breath.
  • Cats are holy creatures. (There will be no debate on this.)

The Mission

To spread joy, awareness, and community — one bumper sticker, one honk, one QR scan at a time.

If you found this page because you spotted The Birding Bitchmobile in the wild, welcome to the story. You’re part of it now.

Each purchase — every sticker, shirt, or donation — keeps this project alive and rolling. It fuels new art, louder laughter, and ongoing collaborations between Summer’s worlds.

How to Join

Buy a sticker. Wear your joy. Stick it somewhere someone else will find it.

Tag @therollingjoyproject when you see the car out in the wild.

Donate or shop. Every dollar funds more stickers, more stories, more rebellion disguised as laughter.

Let's fill the roads (and the internet) with joyful noise.

🌈 A Note from the Driver

I hope my car made your day better — even just a little.

If it did, maybe toss a few bucks toward more stickers, more stories, and more rolling joy.

Because this is what rebellion looks like when it smiles back.
